TOTAL THERAPIES is a Bristol based Occupational Therapy service providing safe and professional virtual or home assessment services.
We offer a broad range of Occupational Therapy assessments with a specialist knowledge in physical rehabilitation.
Unlike many other rehabilitation services, we offer this in the home environment and our treatment programmes work towards improving your independence and ensuring your safety whilst completing essential functional activities of daily living. This can include provision of appropriate equipment to help with domestic tasks, exercise routines, or advice on home adaptations to meet your current needs.
What to expect
We offer a free 15-minute consultation via phone or video call to ascertain whether we are the appropriate service for you, and to answer any questions that you might have.
Following this there would be an hour long consultation, which can be completed virtually, to discuss how you are managing in your home environment, as well as your past medical history. This will help us to determine what further assessments and treatments are required. We will then set self-directed goals with you, to ensure the treatment plan is catered to exactly what you want to achieve.
Home assessments will all be completed following COVID-19 NHS guidelines wearing full personal protective equipment to ensure client safety. Any home visits over a 5-mile radius to Bristol will result in a mileage cost and time will be charged. Home visit assessments can be completed within a 30-mile radius to Bristol.
Pricing can be provided following consultation but based as per services (below) on hourly rate, or on request for an approximate amount of the overall treatment plan.

TOTAL THERAPIES was founded by Anna Howells, a Bristol based Occupational therapist with over 13 years of experience in health, social care and voluntary settings. She is Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC) registered and a member of the specialist sector of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT).
